2024 Registration

Welcome to the 2024 Winter Netball Season with Double Bay Diamonds.

Double Bay has limited spots available in the following age groups:

  • 10s (born 2014)

  • 12s (born 2012)

  • 13s (born 2011)

  • 14s (born 2010)

For those registering, please read the instructions below.

1. NSW Government Active Kids Vouchers

If you wish to use your NSW Government Active Kids Voucher with your DBD registration, please visit Service NSW first, to obtain your voucher number. 


2. Register

Complete the registration for NetSetGo or RNA Winter (Juniors/Inters & Seniors).

Reminder

NetSetGo: 7-9 years as at 31 December 2024. Click here to register for NSG

Juniors/Inters/Seniors:  10 years or older as at 31 December 2024. Click here to register

 

Carefully ensure all personal, contact and email details are correct.  Please note that the Club will send all correspondence to the email address used in signing up, so for younger kids you may wish to use your own email address.

3. Trials
Trials are scheduled as follows:

Saturday 10 February 2024

 8.00 - 10.30: 10s (u-11s)

 10.00 – 13.30: 11s (u-12s

 13.30 - 16.00: 16s +

 

 

Saturday 17 February 2024

 8.00 - 10.30: 12s (u-13s)

10.00 – 13.00: 13s (u-14s)

13.00 – 16.00: 14s/15s (u-15s/u-16s)

 

Monday 26 February 2024

16.30 – 18.30: NSG & 10s (u-11s)

 

Note: all ages are as at 31 December 2024.

 

Please note the following in regard to trials:

  1. In order to trial, you must be registered with the Club and these trials are compulsory. More information will be forwarded to registered members.

  2. The Club reserves the right to schedule additional compulsory trials should the selectors find it necessary. We will advise members accordingly.

  3. If a Player fails to trial without pre-approval, the Club reserves the right to cancel their registration.

 

4. Pricing
Double Bay Diamond's prices are inclusive of:

  • Coaching

  • Court hire as needed

  • Umpiring throughout the season

  • Equipment needed for games/training

  • Administrative costs (in running the Club)

 

DBD Netball Club is a voluntary organisation.  Whilst we pay our coaches, the Club is run by a committee of volunteers.


For any player experiencing financial difficulties, please contact any Executive Member.

5. Important information

  • Training days and venues will be confirmed once teams have been formed.  Double Bay Diamonds cannot guarantee that training will be on the same day/time as last year, nor any specific day/hour for training.

  • If you wish to withdraw your registration, Double Bay Diamonds will refund your money, less $250 for admin expenses (up to 31 January 2024).  If you wish to withdraw from 1 February onwards, registration fees less $450 admin fee will be refunded. 

  • Double Bay Diamonds will make every effort to place all registrants into a suitable team.  If we are unable to do so we will contact the parent as soon as possible and refund all monies.  Similarly, Double Bay Diamonds retains the right to refuse a registration for any reason.

  • Saturday coaching is provided for the games only.  Warming the teams up is the responsibility of parents, as our coaches are busy with earlier games.

  • All DBD players must trial. At competition level teams are formed according to playing ability. If two or more players prefer to play together, then they will be placed in the lowest graded team selected for any of the players. All these players must be in agreement for this to happen. Please let us know via email before the trials if you would prefer to play with a friend.

 

6. NetSetGo Important information

Upon signing up with NSG, we are offering a few options:

  1. Social Teams: At sign up please advise preferred days of the week you would be interested in training. We cannot guarantee your choice, but will do everything possible to accommodate

  2. Competitive NSG: If your child is interested in a slightly more competitive team, they can trial on the 19 February and if suitable will be placed in the relevant team. Please note that if you choose this option, you cannot choose friends to be with, nor your preferred training day.

  3. Competitive 10s; If the selectors think your child is suitable they may be asked to trial with the 10s and be pushed to the Junior competition.

Please note that NetSetGO is coached by Junior u-18 Coaches under the mentorship of our Senior coaches.

7. 2024 Registration Fees

  • Net Set Go: DBD’s fees are $311.  On top of this you have RNA, NNSW and NA fees

  • Juniors/Inters/Seniors: DBD’s fees are $551.  On top of this you have RNA, NNSW and NA fees
